Full home re-piping typically ranges from $8,000–$15,000 depending on home size and pipe material. Free estimates available.
Re-Piping Services
If your home has galvanized steel, polybutylene (poly-B), or aging copper pipes, it's time to re-pipe. Corroded pipes cause low water pressure, discoloured water, and eventual leaks. Grove Mechanical provides full and partial re-piping with modern copper or PEX tubing — bringing your plumbing up to current BC code.
Toilet installation starts at $350–$650 including removal of old unit. Faucet installations from $200–$450.
Fixture & Toilet Replacement
Upgrading your bathroom or kitchen? Grove Mechanical installs all types of plumbing fixtures — toilets, faucets, sinks, showerheads, bathtubs, and more. We work with all major brands and ensure every installation is leak-free, code-compliant, and built to last.
Gas tank replacement: $2,800–$5,650. Electric tank replacement: $2,000–$2,700. Includes installation, permits, and old tank disposal.
Hot Water Tank Replacement
Is your hot water tank leaking, making noise, or over 10 years old? Grove Mechanical provides fast, professional hot water tank replacement — including same-day service when available. We install both gas and electric models from trusted brands like Rheem, Bradford White, and John Wood.
Heat pump water heater installation: $3,500–$5,500. Government rebates may offset $500–$1,000 of the cost.
Heat Pump Water Heaters
Heat pump water heaters (also called hybrid water heaters) use electricity to move heat from the surrounding air into the water — using up to 3x less energy than a standard electric tank. They're the most efficient way to heat water in BC, and may qualify for government rebates.
PRV replacement: $450–$850 depending on location and accessibility. Includes pressure testing before and after.
PRV Replacement
A failing pressure reducing valve (PRV) can cause dangerously high water pressure — leading to burst pipes, leaking fixtures, and premature water heater failure. Most PRVs last 7–12 years. If your water pressure is above 80 PSI, it's time for a replacement. Grove Mechanical provides fast PRV testing and replacement across the Lower Mainland.
Tankless water heater installation: $6,150–$7,650.
Tankless Water Heaters
Tankless water heaters provide endless hot water on demand — no bulky tank, no standby heat loss, and up to 40% energy savings. Grove Mechanical is an authorized Rinnai and Navien installer, providing factory-trained installation and service across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
Boiler installation: $15,100–$21,950. Up to $1,000 in BC government rebates may apply.
